Facts vs. Myths

1. Myth - The community already voted this project down years ago.

   FACT - The community did NOT vote on this project.  A project vaguely  similar was withdrawn from the Council agenda and was never voted on.

2. Myth - The City Council and/or Team Norman is withholding data from the public.

    FACT - Team Norman is following the City legal process.  We look forward to presenting to the City Council and County Commission when it is placed on the Council agenda.

3. Myth - Feasibility Studies have been completed and are being withheld.

    FACT - As of October 13, no studies have been completed or withheld.  Study Data will be included in the Team Norman presentation and become part of the public record.

4. Myth - $200 million in public funds are available to spend on other projects.

    FACT - $200 million in new taxes will be generated by this proposed project but will not exist otherwise.
